Great turnout and a pretty high quality of players too! 18 players made for a great 9 team DYP, and even the teams that went 2 and out were really solid teams overall. Roger and I took down the win, but it was hard fought through some tough teams - Chris and Taras, Tom and Kieran, and Garry and Christof. Great playin all around.
Keep in mind these points don't show anything other than how the tournament went last night, but after a couple months the points will begin to become more accurate. Week 1 Points: Stranks, Will 965 Penner, Roger 965 Bombak, Taras 945 Kerr, Chris 945 Trynchuk, Dale 914 Levesque, Joe 914 Bozman, Kieran 901 McDonald, Tom 901 Robichaud, Ray 901 Ustina, Greg 901 Adam 900 Kwan, Conrad 900 Smits, Peter 900 Mah, Wayne 900 Perrot, Nathan 900 Burgardt, Garry 900 Djakovic, Christof 900 Chan, Ed 900

I know it's irrelevant to me but does it take into consideration who you're playing with? I assume they would combine the total points for the team?

Yeah - in doubles the system add's the partners points together to come up with a team total for each team.
For a couple months the points will fluctuate a lot based on results from each week. Some players that are really good will be stuck near the bottom and some players that are not as strong might sit around the top of the list for a while. It all depends on how people play each week and really if you win then you will get points, thats all the system has to work with for info.
As time goes on the better players will all be at the top of the list though, it works but it takes time.
