All players are going to be assigned a ranking from 1 to 10. 1 being a beginner and 10 being a top player.
A Handy Cap would mean that the team with a lower point ranking would have to score less goals to win the match at the end of the night.
A Point cap would have both teams just trying to get more points in a night but your team would not be able to have players ranking more than (for example) 32 over all ranking points.

lol, thats ok Gary. We will note your vote as Point Cap. What do you think about a predetermined opponent ? Top player vs top player, 2nd vs 2nd and so on. Might be more evenly matched and fun if you have a week to prepare for an opponent. Thoughts?

It takes some of the matchup fun out of the mix. Say we have a rookie that is way below the talent level of my opponents that will prob lose 7-1 7-2 to that opponent. Matching them up with their top player negates how much the deficit will be. losing 7-0 7-1??? That is the advantage the Home Team Captain has. It puts the pressure on the opposing team's 2nd/3rd to put out, and the pressure on my top player, which is where I would prefer to have it,rather than on my rookie's shoulders.
