*****January Foosball Singles Tournament******
For the month of January we will be having a handicapped singles tournament! Matches will take place on Sunday, Monday, or Wednesday nights (players can submit a preferred night for there matches). We are capping it at 16 players, so only the first 16 players that register can play. Everyone will play to a score between 3 and 9 goals depending on skill level. The middle of the pack foosball players will all play to 5 goals, if you are a top player in the league then you play to 7, if you are number 1 in the league you play to 9, and if you are newer or not as good as the average players in the league then you play to 3. Some players may be slotted in between those numbers but that is for the most part how its going to work. Players should rank themselves where they think is appropriate. Some player examples to base your personal ranking off of:
9 - Will
7 - Nathan V, Wayne, Roger
5 - Chad, MJ, Taras
3 - If you don't think you can compete with the players above
To sign up email edmontonfoosball@gmail.com with your name and night of the week you want to play on, as well as a suggested "rank" for yourself. Entry is $10 payable to Paul Humberstone at any foosball event within the first week of the tournament. Payout is 60% 1st, 30% 2nd, 10% 3rd. Register by Tuesday Jan 6th.
